Fished Report 11.23.16

Carrie, Aurora and I cast and trolled UN4 for a few hours in the early afternoon. We had dozens of follows trolling, but since we were fishing deep, we didn't see any of them. No follows in the 20 minutes of casting. No fish. The water clarity is perfect and the water temperature ranged from 45 to 47.5 degrees.

Do me a favor, please. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends and remember tomorrow is our nation's day of thanks. Take some time to ponder what you are truly thankful for. I hate the way so many view tomorrow as only the day before Friday's national leap in to consumerism and greed. Screw "Black Friday". GO THANKSGIVING!!!

Seen a sign on cabelas front door that they are closed on thanksgiving out of respect for thier customers and employees. Actually made me feel good about shopping there even tho sometimes I get down on the big box stores. Rediculous that black Friday now starts on thanksgiving day. It would be nice to see more companies follow suit. Happy thanksgiving everyone and hopefully I can be thankful for a nice plump 35+ pounder late tomorrow night.

Scott & John...thanks for the great posts. That's the way things should be. Unfortunately, they're not all like that but there's always hope for the future!

Despite perfect conditions fished today jigging the river without a bite.  Almost baffling.

We fished for a few hours this morning and early afternoon. Zipppppppooooooo! Oh, well. Off to chill with Bruce and my dysfunctional friends. What could be better?
