Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Carrie and I hit UN2 and 3 this morning for a few hours.  The water was greener than yesterday, which gives me some hope for Sunday downstairs.  We didn't catch anything, but at least we tried.  At least we did that.  Jojo and I may go out tonight for a few hours after I get out of work if we completely ignore reason and sound thinking.  Guess what we'll probably do?

Dr. Dave & I went fishless today,so did Frank & Mike.Hopefully either Dave & Josh or Joe H.who stayed out in the snow, caught something so fat it took two of them to lift her!

No fish to report for Josh and myself Capt Larry.

Josh  battled through a recent/current  bout with a cold/flu on a less than ideal day. He wasn't about to miss the season finale at the harbour.

Always felt right up to the end that the magic was going to happen, just the feeling you can only get on Nov 30th while trolling the Buffalo Harbour, not many places you can say that about, even during the recent lean years there.

The harbour gave us a beatdown this season but I'm sure it didn't break the will of the small group of guys out there today for one last kick at the can.

I suspect we'll all be back there on Nov 30th, 2013

I greatly admire the persistence you and Josh showed this week. No doubt next year Musky Karma will kick in and reward your efforts.

lol..I fish on the 5 year plan Jay, every couple of years or so over a span of 5 years I hope to catch a nice fish.

I was thinking of you the other day when Josh and I spotted a nice 6pt buck feeding along the lake side of the coke channel as we made a trolling pass, I just knew if you were my boat partner that day we would be eating venison jerky today lol... naw... we couldn't do that even if it is deer season..... right?

-Dave

Dave I'll throw my bow in when we troll next fall and we'll have our own version of cast and blast. I feel like Homer Simpson looking at that fat 6 point drooling and saying "Mmmmmm jerky"

Me too, with some flavorful marinating sauce before the slow cook process.

mmmmmmmmmmmmm........

Although nothing..... and I mean nothing beats the elk sausage you've brought back from your western hunts.

I'd barter a big Frankie bait for another sleeve of it. lol

-Dave

Already booked for my elk hunt next fall Dave. You and Buzzy will be in the front of the line if I knock one down.
The Elk tenderloin filets you gave me a few years back were off the charts good, Jay. Elk tenderloin is some of the best meat I have ever had; with an elderberry demi glace...mmmmmm

That decrepit Bethlehem steel work tower behind the deer would make an excellent tree stand/blind. There is a thought...turn the old steel grounds into a game hunting preserve for archers only. LOTS of big bucks around Tift Nature Preserve.
