Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Happy Veteran's Day to all of you and thanks for your service.  Hope that you do whatever you want today & that it's the best day of your lives.  Enjoy the rights and freedoms of this country.  I'm glad that we in the club made it back so that we can get together without harassment, fish whenever we want (most of the time), and do the daily things that much of the world isn't allowed.

I know of four veterans in the NMA, for sure, and I'm sure there are more.  I just haven't met them or know that they're vets.  I know Frank, Capt. Larry, Carl & Rusty, the new guy who showed up last week.  Many thanks to you guys & all the rest of you.

By the way, when I was in VietNam, I had a Hawaiian Sergeant working with me and he had difficulty pronouncing my name so he would refer to me as "Captain Getchurcoatnhat". (Gotta say it fast to get the flavor)

Remind me to tell the story abot Joey Heatherington at the Bob Hope USO show, Xmas, 1966.

John,Frank & All the NMA Veterans,Welcome Home and Thank You For Your Service!

On behalf of our members who never served in the military, I would like to thank those who did for their service, steadfastness and sacrifice. Happy Veterans Day, and thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." - John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Had a senior moment about Joey Heatherton.  That is her name, not Heatherington.
