IMPORTANT: NMA Christmas Party Reservations

Date: Tuesday, December 6

Time: 6pm, dinner served at 6:30pm.

Cost: $20 per person. The price is $28 per person, but the club is picking up the difference. Children sixteen years and younger are free.

The skinny: We'll be enjoying a three meat, all-you-can-eat buffet prepared by the wonderful people of the Eldredge Club.

The problem: We need forty paying members to confirm they are attending.  If we don't receive forty confirmations we'll be forced to cancel our catering order with the Eldredge Club.

My request: Please respond to this post or to the email sent from Tony (IMPORTANT: NMA Christmas Party) if you plan on attending our Christmas party on December 6th.  The deadline to respond is Monday, November 21st.

Here's the skinny: We're at 21 reservations for our Christmas Party. We need 40. I'm calling the Eldredge Club on Tuesday to let them know if we're on or not. The cost is $20 per person. The $20 includes an all you can eat buffet, that usually consists of roast beef, pork chops, chicken, potatoes, vegetable, salad and coffee. The Eldredge Club charges $28 per head, but the club eats the $8. $20 for dinner isn't so bad. If you plan on attending our Christmas Party respond to this post. Tomorrow is the deadline.

Here's my skinny:  I'd spring for an extra ticket if we got close to 40 but I'm not in the mood to buy 19 tickets just so I can have 38 extra pork chops at a poorly attended party. There probably will be some vocal disappointment but it will come too late to salvage the party. We need a good stocking program: for muskies and active club members.
