Need Help on Where/How to Show 8yr old Grandson a Great Day Of Fishing

Haven't been able to get out much this season for fishing, only one time with my brother Buzzy for walleye, been promising my 8yr old grandson Henry I'd take him out and need to do it this week before he goes back to school.

Won't take him musky fishing because I want him to enjoy fishing hahahahaha.

I'm willing to float a bobber, jig, troll whatever so he catches some fish. Probably Upper River or Lower River, not sure how lumpy Lake Erie or Lake Ontario would be.

Missing the floating weeds would be the only thing that went right for us that day Capt Larry  hahaha

After a couple days of draining gas from every possible location on both his main & kicker, brother Buzz got both motors running.

The oil pressure alarm he was getting turned out to be a high separator level alarm which makes sense, so no oil issues which was good.

Mornings and evenings now have a chill in the air, deep breath of it and I know I'll be making up for lost time on the water soon.
