Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Good Evening, My name is Ben and I am a new “ish” member to the NMA. I joined the NMA last year, and since then Musky fishing has completely taken over me. During that time until present, I have been blessed to have fished with and become good friends with Josh Ketry, Hans, Sean Leary, Mike Rowan, John Pensyl, John Miller and more. Every one of these guys has helped me to become the musky angler I’m slowly becoming. Wether it be fishing together (Ketry has become my number one musky partner) for Muskies or other species, getting together for bait making sessions (thanks hansy), hanging out and inviting me to family BBQ’s or even hour long phone convos about fishing and life in general, everything has helped me. When I first joined I was very nervous about reaching out to others when I had questions. Even something as small as “What size leaders, or what pound line do you suggest for the river compared to fishing inland lakes” That being said, If any other new members to the NMA who are reading this, and you haven’t met anyone yet, or you’re to timid to reach out to others, shoot me a message. I will happily answer any questions you may have or try to help you out in any way I can like the seasoned veterans have done for me in the past. I might not know everything, but I will guide you in the right direction. Good Luck to everyone getting out for the opener, have a successful 2023 season!
