Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Jon and I tried to go out yesterday morning. But after leaving the Sheridan dock the 30 amp fuse blew in my Yamaha again. Everything seemed fine in the driveway. Motor started fine at the dock. Let it idle for a few minutes, no problem. Backed it out, no problem. Shifted to forward, blew the fuse. When that happens, can't start the motor, gauges don't work, and the trim/tilt won't work.
When we first replace the fuse, it heats up. After moving some wires in the motor it's ok and the trim tilt works w/o a problem. So we think it's a damaged wire in the motor but can't find it. All my electronics are wired to a separate battery and were unaffected.
First happened last Friday. We fished for 5 hours before it blew, starting and running many times before it happened.
So I guess the muskie gods are angry at me for doing some bass fishing. Jealous deities they must be. And I was planning to muskie fish all day.
Brobeil Marine (the only Yamaha repair shop in the area) can't take me until October 16, so I'm grounded until after then.
I don't like the muskie gods anymore.

Sorry to hear the Tony
My Merc has been giving me a lot of electrical problems too, right now it won't charge the battery, most likely the voltage regulator. It's also been pop'n the fuse
