Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

That explains the barge that went past us heading down the river yesterday. It was loaded with  large cement blocks and even larger tree stumps.

That's neat. We'll try to get Tim back in to give us a presentation on that project once we get back to face-to-face meetings. The boulders around there are supposed to deaden the wave action as well as protect the tree stumps from ice-scrubbing.

Root balls seem to be the habitat of choice these days. Lots of places for forage to hide & lots of nutrients to grow shoots. Couple of pics attached; row of root balls West River & a root ball growing shoots. Motor Island 2018:

Great stuff. It will be great for YOY and juvenile fish. Hopefully it will help protect them from predators like cormorants. I just wish they could find a way to control the gobies.
