Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

After a brief trial run for the virtual NMA meeting next week, Scott and I headed out for a night troll. We spent all of our time in front of Strawberry. I was keeping a close eye on the weather with my phone since a front was moving in within a couple hours. I had just rechecked the radar after the clouds moved in and the wind picked up. I switched to researching exactly what type of nasty, hairy, monster-spiders haunt our docks, lol, when my rod went off! Scott asked me to tell him when I had my rod in hand so he could put the kicker in neutral. I grabbed my rod, felt some big head shakes and lost my voice. Scott yelled, "Do you have it?" And I finally answered "yes!" (I endured a lot of rookie heckling because of my lack of response after the release.) After a short fight I landed both mine and the boat's first Musky of the season, a healthy 45-inch beauty! We were only out for 2 hours. I wish all our trips were so successful!
