Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Frank and Len hit the water Saturday AM.  After weeks of hunting for muskies with 80# line and heavy rods, we decided to go after walleyes. Roses Reef and the departure buoy were the intended destinations. On the way ou from Rich Marina, I stopped at Thompson's for a drift with a spinner/worm rig. Just about to start a slow troll in about 10 feet of water at the start of the reverse drift, I dropped my spinner in and had a hit within 5 seconds. While Len went for the net, my walleye? turned into a musky and jumped clear out of the water.  A beautiful musky, I'd say about  38-42 shook it's head and made mince meat of my 10# line.  If anyone lands a musky with a large willow leaf spinner in its lip, save the spinner for me.

I did get a walleye and a goby later but the trip highlight was a musky strike.

Frank you target walleye and catch skis.  We were targeting skis and Jerry caught a tasty looking 28 inch yellow.  WTF go figure.

You want to catch tiger muskies?  Go bass fishing with spinnerbaits and little cranks.  I was bluegill fishing the other day and I couldn't keep the damn sturgeon off my line!  Sturgeon are those fish that look like stunted smallmouth bass right?

huh?
