Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Scott...I wouldn't exactly call myself a TV star, especially since I have a face made perfectly for radio!
A little background: Bill Hilts, an outdoor writer in Niag County, hosts a weekly TV show on LCTV (Lockport Community TV), Cable 22. He sent Scott an email asking if anyone was available because he had a last minute cancellation. In short, I ended up being a guest on one of his shows a few weeks ago.
Bill & I emailed back & forth a few times & we decided to talk about the NMA and some of the things we're doing as a club. One of my relatives called me this morning & said that the things that our club does is "very impressive." He had no idea that a fishing club could get so involved in so many good, local projects. In the clip, we talk about the Beaver Project, the "Know the Diff" signs, the FAS project and practicing good C&R. Unfortunately we ran out of time.
Personally, it was a privilege for me to be able to represent our club and get the word out as to what we're doing. I only see more good things in the future for our fishery and that's because of the dedication and passion of the members.
Thanks to everyone for making our club what it is because that's what makes a good club really good; really good members.

Good talk John.
I looked at a few of the other shows. In case you haven't seen it #68 is a good one with Dr. Dimitry Gorsky of the US Fish and Wildlife Service. In the last half of the show, he talks about the acoustic tagging study and shows one of the receivers and talks about how they deploy and retrieve them.
steve...no, I haven't seen it but I'll certainly listen to it. Thx. Chris Legard works with Dr. Dimitry in their sturgeon study & has been trying to work out details of piggy-backing a musky telemetry study. last I heard there might be some technical issues, but like I always say: "if it was E-Z, we would have done it a long time ago!"
He was also talking about the monitoring of the sturgeon in the lower. He said that over the years, they have captured and tagged over 700 and very few were repeats. He gave an estimate of 7,000 in the system. He also talks about lake trout reproduction in the lower.
