Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

I went to the Town of Tonawanda recreational office to get my season boat launch pass. I've had one every year since 1980. I was told that they are not offering season passes this year but will be charging a daily $10 fee.
Also, the fee will be paid using a phone ap and a credit card just like the downtown parking lots. No cash.
I went to the boat launch and saw that there's nothing set-up for payment yet and that no fee was being charged.
Has anyone else heard anything?
If you're a retired senior and like to get out a few hours every few days that $10 fee can really add up, especially if you have to continue paying into November or December.

I checked the Town of Tonawanda website and it looks like they're only charging launch fees until September 2. So fall fishing should be free, I think.
You do have to create an account with the Town to use the ap and make the payment.
I just wonder if they're really enforcing the thing.
Three and a half miles down the road is the Isle View launch, which might be a good alternative.
I guess they changed their minds. I picked my season pass up this morning.
Thank you, Andy, for the info.
