I asked the NY DEC for the dates,that is what they sent me.I'm waiting for the NYDEC to email me back the correct dates.Funny no one in the NYDEC after being transfered 6 times can answer the question.They will call me back soon and I will post the correct dates.Steve Lapan told me they were coming up in March,he was out of his office today.I just got called back by the NYSDEC and was given Steve Lapan's number.I'll post it as soon as Steve calls me back.

  At last nights Erie County Fishery Advisory Board Meeting I tabled the Great Lakes Season Change Discusion for 30 Days until after the NSDEC presence at the NMA Meeting March 5th.I'm also asking if the Federal Funds that were allocated for the Buffalo River Walleye Project,that was scrubbed because of VHS,if those Funds can be used for Habitat Restoration in the Buffalo Harbor.If they do not find a place to use those Funds they must be given back to the Federal Gov.The area near the Buffalo Water Treatment Plant on the turn in the Black Rock Wall could be called Walleye Spawning Habitat Restoration Project and just might qualify for $100,000 + dollars.

Finally I got the State of Lake Ontario Meeting dates where one topic will be NY Great Lakes Muskie Season Changes.

•                     Wednesday, March 6, 2013: 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at the DEC Training Academy, 24 County Route 2A, Pulaski (the former “Portly Angler Motel”), Oswego County.  The meeting is co-hosted by the Eastern Lake Ontario Salmon and Trout Association.

•                     Tuesday, March 12, 2013: 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at the Carlson Auditorium, in the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science building (76-1125) on the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) campus, Rochester, Monroe County.  The meeting is co-hosted by RIT and the Monroe County Fishery Advisory Board.

•                Tuesday, March 19, 2013: 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. at the Cornell Cooperative Extension   

            Building, 4487 Lake Avenue, Lockport, Niagara County.  The meeting is co- 

hosted by Niagara County Cooperative Extension and the Niagara County Sportfishery Development Board
