Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Jojo...I was at Wilkenson Pnt today & saw that they now rent 'yaks & water bikes from there. Also saw that they have a beer garden & a shack where you can rent a bike. They're starting to get some activity in that area.
Other than the Wilkeson embayment, the only place the 'yakkers can go from there is into the main harbor channel. Here's the beer garden:
Jojo...Took a ride to the Sheridan ramp today & noticed there were no handrails for the kayakers to pull themselves into the water & out. Going into the river should be no problem but trying to get back on the ramp from the water will be.
Do you know if there are plans to add handrails?
Jojo...that would be good...mostly from the standpoint of boater safety. I know that the kayak launches East R. Marsh (near Bluewater), at Beaver Island Park & the one in the Bflo Rier all have handrails. You set you kayak on the rollers, load up your gear, get in & thn pull yourself into the water. Getting out, you paddle like mad, go partially up the rollers, grab the handrails & pull yourself back up onto the launch ramp. Otherwise, you'd have to try to get out of the kayak with it in the water, which, with the boat traffic, could be dicey. Thx.
