Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Danny Lacko sent me this image. The foot of Sheridan is closed due to ridiculously high water. Ouch!

Wow!! Any thoughts on opening day tactics. Will it even be worth it to fish the river? Will there be any launches usable? What about current, water clarity and water temps?
Boats were using it this morning.
Steve,
I don't think tactics would be different that any other opener. Other than the high water things shouldn't be much different. The high water will only effect your ability to launch the boat.
Tony
It's tough to launch at Sheridan with sw 20 to 30 under normal conditions. With record high water we'll have to look elsewhere. Isle View is a good launch, but water's been high there too. Gratwick Park might be an alternative. Foot of Ontario is ok, but not a big lot. Erie Basin marina and SBH (or whatever it is now) should be usable for the harbor.
doesn't sound like the day to try the lake in a 14' sylvan.
Update on Sheridan and Isle View boat launches. Took a ride this morning. Sheridan docks were under water. Ramps 2,3 and 4 were closed. Ramp 1, along the cement wall, was open with maybe 1 foot clearance.
Isle View docks were also under water, but launch was open. At least there were no signs or barriers. You can probably launch there, but will need waders or boots or wet feet. If windy, will have to worry about boats being blown onto cement docks.
