2025 June Meeting at Sheridan Park

June 3, 2025 from 6pm to 9pm
We are holding our June meeting at Sheridan Park in Tonawanda starting at 6pm on Tuesday, June 3.  Where exactly in Sherdidan Park we are meeting is a mystery.   We didn't reserve a shelter because doing so is a pain in the ass.  Carrie and I will arrive early, squat in a shelter, and post on our site the exact location of our meeting. Thanks to Tony and Gary and their grills, I'll be cooking Sahlen's hot dogs for all in attendance.  In addition to stuffing our faces, we're holding our annual…See More

"There is no fee for any fishing volunteer entering Beaver Island State Park for the kids fishing event. Simply tell the gate keeper that you’re there to work with Ladders to the Outdoors."

"Let's hope. I rarely see a lot of white acorns in the woods. Maybe you will find a stand of them & go thru the planting process. That's pretty neat what you're doing, though"

"The DEC was all out of whites by the time I made my order so we went with reds. The deer do indeed prefer the sweeter whites but will readily eat the reds if that is all there is. Hopefully get a bunch of whites next year."
