Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

8th Mark (Troy) Treu Tournament on Waneta Lake

Hello to all,

We had a good turn out of hunters for the day. The wind, rain, and cold front did not stop the guys from catching muskies. Tournament started at 7:00 AM with Mike G. taking the lead with a 39-1/2" and not looking back. Mike R. put a 33-1/2" fish in the net at 7:50 and it look to be the start of a busy day. At 8:15 Matt B. landed a 38-1/2" for 2nd place, we got a measurement and photo and the fish was off to fight again. Joe D. came in with our 3rd place at 38-1/2" at 9:50. Trevor T. got into a 33-1/2" at 12:00. Nick landed a 32-3/4" in the south end and Bob S. got a 33". Andy L. lost a high 30-low 40" at the side of the boat. We called the tournament at 3:30 PM. I severed my boat side chili at lunch time for all that wanted. We met at the cottage for the cook out, awards, and raffles. Took some group photos and framed the winning musky hunter's fish to hand out with the awards. Bob did the cooking while Jim took care of the raffle table. While I was printing out and framing the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place fish. The guys had a good time from all the feed back we got at the cottage. I want to thank all for the donations and all that participated in the event.

Jim, Ed and Bob, congratulations on another successful Mark Treu Memorial Tournament.  I can't believe Mark has been gone for so long.  Your hard work and devotion to this event is a inspirational credit to Mark's memory.  Remembering passed friends is very important to me, and you guys do a wonderful job of that each and every year.  Nice work men.
