Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Why am I posting a fishing report titled with tomorrow's date?  To emphazize the importance and lend suspense (sure) to what will transpire on the Niagara River in less than twenty-four hours, obviously.

Tomorrow Bruce and I revolutionize trolling forever. Tomorrow we change the game permanently.

Tune back.

OPERATION EPICUREAN begins soon, ushering in our golden age of fishless yet comforting and satisfying trolling.  So brush up on your table etiquette and be prepared to have your mind blown into smithereens.

Remember, your salad fork in the slightly smaller utensil to the left of your dinner fork, and keep those  damn elbows off the table, or passenger console...

Will your dogs also be eating with you?

"From that fateful day when stinking bits of slime first crawled from the sea and shouted to the cold stars, "I am man.", our greatest dread has always been the knowledge of our mortality. But tonight, we shall hurl the gauntlet of science into the frightful face of death itself. Tonight, we shall ascend into the heavens. We shall mock the earthquake. We shall command the thunders, and penetrate into the very womb of impervious nature herself."

-- Dr. Frederick Von Frankenstein

        (Young Frankenstein)

Since mankind climbed out of the primordial ooze, stood erect, and eventually discovered fire, we have collectively dreamed of hot meals cooked fresh while trolling for muskellunge.  Tonight Bruce and I made the greatest leap for mankind since Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon in the Sea of Tranquility on July 20, 1969.  Tonight we made steak hoagies on the boat.  I will repeat that since I am certain you are in a state of shock. Tonight we made steak hoagies on the boat.

Glorious!  Greasy, sure, but glorious.  We were going to make cinnamon rolls with our electric frying pan, but the juice ran out on our power source.

We fished from 4:30 to 9:30 in UN4, 3 and 2, in that order.  You may want to sit down, but we actually caught a musky.  Bruce caught a low-thirty on a jointed 10" Believer in a custom Mr. Toothy sucker pattern in UN4.  I had a legit rip, which shocked me as much as I'm sure it does you.

The water was gin and temp was around 56 degrees. It was dewy and bit foggy.  The hoagies were amazing and we caught an actual, albeit tiny, musky. Great night.
