Was that all the dead gizzard shad from the Buffalo Harbor floating down the river?

They had the same thing in Presque Isle in Erie. Zillions of dead Gizzard Shad floated to the surface as the ice melted. They don't like the cold.

I noticed yesterday that there is a lot of dead gizzard shad in Irondequoit Bay and the bay outlet.
