Questions for all who want to help with " the Islands Tree Wrapping Patrol"?

  Good Day

  I was wondering which days would be better. Sunday afternoons /evenings? Or after dinner during the week? Thinking that we will work in a few hour shifts each time and maybe fish afterwards? This is going to be a LONG term project, not only this year, and going into the fall. Motor looks easier since they have removed and leveled so much of it. The Canadian side of  The Strawberry Patch is going to take a lot longer. So many trees ,so little time...

  We need to decide, so that I can get permits and notifications out. I am going to plan 4 weeks at a time. With multiple dates  on each permit.

  We also need a point man to help run the show, on the day of the show.

  Fifty members at the meeting last time and 8 volunteers signed up??? What'sup wit dat???

JoJo, I can wrap trees on any day when a major cold front has just past with high blue bird skies, stable high pressure, stiff north winds and a greater than normal recreational boating traffic.  I can not be a point man, just an extra in the "show".  Let me know.  A lot of you fellas reading this post fish all around those islands.  Its time to give back for a few hours.  Lets see some more participation.....it will be rewarding.  Something you can tell your grand kids.

Either will work for me.  Last I talked to Frank he was still waiting on Home Depot about a donation of material.  Have you heard an update on that from Frank?

jojo...I'm in.  Mornings are the best for me but if it turns out that afternoons or evenings are better for the others, I can do that, too.  I should be able to go several times, but prob not all, but, hey, you never know.  If I can get a few trips under my belt so I know what the he77 I'm doing, I'd be willing to give a try to be point-man on a show-day, too.
