7/11 report

Decided to break away and fish some different water this am. Fished the north end of grand island and even decided to grow a pair and fish around navy island. Kind of intimidating seeing the mist from the falls while ur ripping a stickbait along a weededge. I did move more fish today than I have in a while, all casting stickbaits and bucktails and most between grass island and the long rocky breakwall thing that comes out west of the north bridge. Probably seen 8-9 different fish throughout the am. None of them had much size but it seems the 30-35 inchers are hanging out down there in full force. I landed one low 30 inch musky on a shallow baker and added a 26-27 inch tiger on a little bucktail concoction I had success with last year. Scott, if ur looking for a spot to pick up a Niagara top water fish I bet down there would be a good bet.

I've been wondering where all the kids have been playing.  Derek Crane popped a 46" tiger on the surface Monday.

Was it down there?? Just seems like tigerville down that way. I had a fish chasing a baby draider boatside today that I'm pretty sure was another tiger.
