Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Scott...I like the first one. I goofed around this morning (in Word) & added a couple of things to the 1st one:
1. to put an outline of the Niagara River/Grand Island region in the background behind the logo.
2. I added the four words Preserve, Protect, Enhance, Educate in the corners.Below is a very crude rendering because I'm not good at art on the computer.
so, I'm throwing it out there:
John, it's funny you mentioned the Grand Island area of the River. In my notes prior to starting logo designs, I tried to incorporate this area into a logo. I like your Preserve, Protect, Enhance, Educate (I love "Educate") additions. I'm far from finished (I don't particularly love any of the logos so far). Thanks!
Scott..My 1st thought was to put the NMA logo right on a map of G.I. instead of an oval, since the Niag. is so close to the heart of our club.
On a slightly different topic, I've done a lot of teaching in my non-teaching career because it's something I really enjoyed while having tons of fun doing. Maybe we can discuss at the BOD mtg tonite, if there's time.
How about incorporating a release picture into the logo?
Great idea Steve. I'll have to play with a few release shots. After I'm done filtering images to give them a drawn appearance, water doesn't always look like water, and I'm not sure how well they would reproduce on a T-shirt or hooded sweatshirt. I'll give it a shot, though.
