fishing report 6-21 & 22

I hit the river with brother Jerry for the opener. We had a great time enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the Niagara for the first time this year. splashing fish, golden broad sides and the sweet aroma of musky slime were not part of our day, except for a glimpse at Carrie's fine fish...congrats. I am embarassed to say we fished from 5am until 7 pm without a bite from a musky. We fit an hour nap in there ad well. Shame. Jery started us out early in UN1 on Sunday when he brought an upper 30s to the net with a gold monster tube. A couple of follows immediately followed, nothing big though. It didnt take too long for me to get on the board after jerry cracked the the ice. A buskie on a ninja in the triangle. Shared some kind words with John Pensyl and the little fellow interupted us. Thanks for the good karma John. Finished up with another couple follows, nothing too big, and a missed opportunity for Jerry on a fish in 27 feet of water. Very slow....or we suck.
