Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

fished Friday night with Tommy and caught a 38.5'' fish on the butter colored lure which is becoming my favorite. Tommy had a fish on but it got off as he was getting the rod out of the holder. felt one other fish on and off. went out last night with Scott K and hooked into a fish that kept getting my drag to slip and that doesn't usually happen. Told Scott it felt like a good fish. Scotts' headlamp is like a mini spotlight and when it came into view we could see it was indeed a nice one. back treble in fishes mouth, slide fish over net, front hook now caught just below rim, in the net, out of net, in the net, out of net, gator roll, tangled in net, pull to boat, handy hands by Scott, fish settles into bottom of net, words I've wanted to hear. There's your hat fish! 49'', quick pick, back into the dark waters. landed a 28'' walleye and lost another muskie on a jump. love that full moon phase. back tonight. time on the water!!

Nice!! Sounds like some very tense moments there.
Awesome, Carl! Congratulations! It's not every day you pop your biggest musky. I'll claim this fish is due to your generous volunteer work for the club (or all the time you've spent on the river)! Musky Karma (time) pays off again!
Nice fish! Saw you out in UN1 this morning John, fished from 6 to 12 and nothin.
Way to go Carl. You have worked so hard to get your "Hat Fish". Can't wait to see your smile when you put it on at the banquet next year. Well done Sir!
