11/11 report

Head of the river is pretty epic right now. The amount of big hooks that were on the graph this am I've only seen in the mouth of the detroit river when it loads up in Nov and the action we had was on par. By 9am we were 6 for 11 with first fish coming right before daybreak. We quit at 11am 7 for 13 with biggest landed 44 and Cullen losing a solid 48 right at the net. Of the 6 "missed" fish 4 were actually solid hookups that fought their way free and 2 were missed bites. Most action came on tubes except first fish came trolling a gizzard shad candy and 2nd fish came casting an orange belly perch veiders deep sniper.

I am a new member. Is the head of the river in front of strawberry or more like the Peace Bridge / Roundhouse area?   Congrats on a great outing!

Mark, They are referring to the area from Strawberry Island to Frenchmen's Creek, Upper Triangle Area as the head of the River.

Head of the river to me could be anything that you described but in this case it was the area above strawberry.

Bad wording on my part I guess. Was referring to NWA's mack 10 dopeman area. "Strawberry is a girl that everybody know, strawberry, strawberry is the neighborhood.... U know the rest. Lol
