Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

I just became aware of these videos of presentations by various fisheries specialists that are being put up on YouTube. I was made aware of them because of my connection with Kevin Kapusccinski on LinkedIn. Thanks Kevin. There are many that look interesting and several that pertain to musky. I have only watched one so far that was done by Paul Mckeown, called Management of Chautauqua Lake Muskellunge, a historical perspective. Here is a link

The presentation by John Casselman called "Trophy Muskellunge Populations and Fisheries Can Be Sustainable" is very interesting.
Some interesting vids on that site. I'll definitely need some time to watch but two that caught my eye right away are "Trophy Musky Populations can be Sustainable" by Casselman and "Management of Constructed Northern Pike Spawning marshes in Conesus Lake" by N YAFS.
There are some ideas floating around of building n. pike spawning marshes to draw them away from the musky spawning areas. If pike habitat is now unsuitable (for whatever reason), they will go where the muskies are, which could be a reason for the tigers.
