Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Fished aboard Scott K.' boat Friday evening.  We started a little before sunset with some casting.  During the end of caylight I hooked into a fish that felt like a snag until the headshakes began.  Seemed like a good fish but unfortunately it got off almost to the boat, but still deep.  Too dark to see it clearly. Trolled until just before sunrise and did net a high 30s fish which got almost the entire lure into its mouth. During my attempt at gripping the fish it popped the front hook out of its mouth and into the sleeve of my jacket. Scott grabbed the fish while I reached the bolt cutters and began snipping.  Had to get pretty deep past the teeth to cut the one hookpoint still lodged in the fish, but it swam  away instantly with a dip of the net.  no other action and we called it a night around 6 in the morning.  Glad I wasn't alone and that the Knipex were within reach as the fish was stretching my sleeve.  Also glad it was cool or that might have been my arm.  Too close!

Carl...reading that made my arm hurt.  Good thing for a lot of things.  It could have just as easily turned out much worse.
