Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Typical Saturday morning trip for me and Len. Only boat out there to start. Len had to be off the water at 11:00AM as he had a Knights of Columbus meeting. He is a 4th degree Knight who likes to give me the third degree when we don't get any fish. Tried bondy's for an hour but switched to black tubes. Went to Frenchmans and did a few drifts. At 10:20 we decided to call it a day so Len could be on time. Was reeling in slowly to get the most time in the water while saying that we struck out again. Felt a gentle resistance and set the hook and yelled for the net. A musky rolled at the surface and as Len got ready he yelled: There's two of 'em. If I had a bigger net we could have boated two. My fish really gorged on the tube and I had to use jaw spreaders to assist in removing the hooks. The fish cooperated as one hook was deep and he wanted it out as much as I did. Thought for sure it would take a while to get the fish swimming but once the hooks were cut, Len dipped the net and the fish swam off slowly, giving me time to take a picture of the nice water release. Tossed my Rapala ruler into the net during surgery and got a 46"reading. The fish had no marks and was really heavy. Made for a nice trip home. Smiling this time!!

It's not musky season without at least one Len & Frank report.
