Brother John's line snapped as he casted; he then proceeded to bring the line in by hand wanting to save the lure. He said to me "wouldn't it be great if I caught a salmon while hand lining? I did catch a Musky while hand lining before" Then literally a moment later he said "FISH ON"! I grabbed the net that we had for salmon, and the fish barely fit in the net! This was a 42 inch and very husky fish. It's times like this that make fishing with my Brother so great!! I know it's not a Musky, but I just had to share the experience!
