Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Twenty-two anglers participated in our Tim Wittek Memorial Tournament today. Conditions, while not optimal for musky fishing, were unseasonably nice with light winds and warm air temperatures.

Thirteen Muskies were released with casting, jigging and trolling all accounting for fish.

The Red Larson, the scurge of the Wasteland, struck first and they struck heavy. Ken Szymanski released a 48-inch fatty in the South gap by 8am leaving the rest of the field scrambling for second and third. Very impressive catch, Ken! Ken was fishing with Joe Hetzendorfer and Bill Gliss, of course.

Second place went to John Miller who jigged up a 42.5" on a Red October tube while fishing with his brother, Jerry.

Fresh off his first place finish at the Muskies Inc. Chapter 69 Waneta tournament, Dan Lacko finished third with a 42" caught with his father, Andy.

The other nine fish ranged from 39" to 30.5". In total, four muskies were released in the harbor and nine in the river.

After the Wittek, we shot the you-know-what and ate pizza at the foot of Sheridan. Nice.

Many thanks to all who participated in the Wittek and congratulations to Dan, John and especially Ken with his early morning heroics.

Nicely done boys.  Any pics?

Yep. They will appear in the next newsletter. Mr. Szymanski has the cover, for now.
