Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Carl...Wow is right. I read the article a couple of times &, since Canada doesn't require scanning, the U.S would do it when you leave & when you enter the U.S. That would put an end to my trips there, for sure. Hopefully the members of Congress have cooler heads.
From what I've read regarding biometric requirements to and from Canada, it would never pass Congress. Most of our representatives, and I would think the current administration, realize that it would have a disastrous effect on border crossings and the economies of both countries.
Of course, Presidents can issue executive orders on anything in the name of national security when they disregard honest facts (unless Congress overrides them). But I believe that the current administration is more level headed than that ....
The issue with border crossings is that most constitutional rights don't apply. Cross at your own peril and hope the foreign country you are entering is friendly (and our own country permits our return). There are treaties and federal laws governing these issues which provide protection which the constitution does not.
