Island clean up update

Good Day Brothers and Sisters

     Talked to Ann Rothrock ( "the Eagle Lady")at the DEC and she said,we cannot get on Strawberry January 1- September 30 , so we are on hold with Strawberry. The good news is the Eagles are on the nest. The bad news ALL BOATS AND PEOPLE will have to stay 660 feet away, from nest, both on land and water. Only the tips of each wing are accessible. Which means Tommy and Carl just lost one of their trolling patterns?  We will have to remember to get out there this fall to at least do a quick pick up but much more importantly check the trees for Beaver damage.

 We will still try to get on Motor Island when the weather breaks.

Jojo...will they be putting buoys or signs on the water to mark the area for boaters? The Canadians mark their marine sanctuary with buoys on the water.
