Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Frank and Len fished opening day 5:30 to noon. Thompson's, North Gap trolling to the Lighthouse and back, troll along the Coast Guard rip rap to the ice boom bay,. Tried casting in the bay at Gallagher Beach and almost hooked a guy on a skidoo. He turned out to be a Bflo Police Ofcr who politely asked me to leave due to some canoe races that were scheduled. There were two ski doos, not marked. The officers had no ID on their black wet suits. One pulled a cap out of a compartment that had a PD shield on it. He had a large tatoo of his daughter on his left calf. So be on the lookout for that. Im sure you can spot it from quite a distance. Sure!. We then did a troll around the south gap and into the coke channel. Two things of note. A lot of the steel plant buildings are down but the brick shells of the ovens remain. Really kind of interesting. The second thing is the noise and stench of 20,000 sea gulls. We luckilly escaped without being dumped on. Then we casted outside the small boat harbor and again at the ice boom bay. Wound up jigging at frenchmans and I had a good rip on a black curly tail tube. Got home to hear Joyce say "BLNT?" That means: Better Luck Next Time??

Frank had an idea for the raffel tabel. For all of us that have to many lures. I think we should add groups of Plano boxes, the flat opague ones. Igg what are the numbers?? They run 3-5 bucks and we can put them in groups of 2 or 3. I never have enough of them. They break, fill up get stored away, fall over board, get left in parking lots and highways, very used and abused. I certainly need them more then I need any more lures. I think we should get a truck load. Good catching to all. jojo out
Yes Yes YES. PLANO BOXES. I store my overflow in my parents cellar. Taking a look while readying for the opener, even I was shocked. Had to be over a thousand. And I haven't bought more than a dozen in the past 10 years.
So I need more boxes!
Plano 3700 (shallow, better for bass and pike lures)
Plano 3730 (Deep, GREAT for the big stuff)
Plano 3600 (Small and shallow, great for snaps, stringease, hooks, etc.)
This is a great idea Jo JO. I can nev er have enough storage boxes.
I believe Frank is working on a deal with Plano. If he's successful, we'll sell them to members at a big (I hope) discount.
