Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Fished a hard 13 hours today from 6am-7pm with Sean Leary.   Now that Canadian waters are open again I really was excited to hit some of my old haunts.    We went 3 for 7, plus a few nice follows.  No real rhyme or reason to the day.

Day started off stained water - perfect (about 7-8' vis).   Tried jigging to no avail.  Moved shallow casting and had a few follows including one over 45".  Then landed a 35" possible tiger that we tagged with # 64.  She ate a shadzilla that was cast in less than 10' of water.  Changed spots and hooked and lost a fish without seeing it.   Twenty minutes later same general spot about a 41" fish  swallowed my Storm Shad pretty badly.  We worked on her for a while.  She kept flipping belly up but eventually swam down.  It was the worst hooked fish I have had in about 5-6 years.  Thank goodness for jaw spreaders and hook cutters or she would have had no chance.  We didn't tag or measure her because we knew what we were in for before she ever hit the net (could barely see the leader end out of her mouth).   Said a little muskie-prayer for her.  Hope she is ok.

Move back to jigging.   Sean gets his tube shredded but we don't see the fish.   Absolutely shredded like taco cheese.   Change tubes.  A little while later I land a 33" on a black tube and tag her #65.    We move spots again and Sean hooks up into a fish that was bending the rod pretty good.    We never see it.  Pops off.  Green tube.   Then I finish off the day hooking a hard fighting fish also on a tube.   We get it near the boat a few times but she won't quit and pops off just before we net her.  Looked to be low 40s but sure felt feisty and heavy.

Glad to be back to Canadian waters.   Feels like a musky depression has been lifted off my shoulders.

PS I need to know where to report the tags.  I couldn't find the form on here.  Hopefully it is digital because I can't make Tuesday night meetings because I teach jiu jitsu 5:30pm-9pm then.

Great report, Josh. Check your PSG email. I forwarded you the tagging info and form.

Best report in days, Josh. Sounds like you hit them good! Congrats

Josh...you over on Ganson most nights? Went to the grain elevator brewery a couple times last week. Great place to hang out & I love it there. It's Buffalo's waterfront at it's absolute finest. If you're there I'd like to pop in just to say "Hi." I don't believe I've ever met you.

Yeah John, my jiu jitsu academy called Buffalo United Martial Arts is there.  Poke your head in.... but protect your neck  (from chokes)!  lol

Thanks Josh. I'll do that. I'll just pop in to say "Hi" & protect my neck (& watch my back). see ya'

Thanks Scott!

Good day
Nice work

Good job protecting your neck @John  lol

Thanks. I had a good sensei. Nice to finally have met you. It's a great operation down there.
We'll have to get out on the water this year. Better check my Canadian license
