Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Bruce and I went bass fishing this afternoon. We didn't catch a lot of fish, but we did manage a few nice smallies.

After getting sick of casting to docks in UN12 I snapped on a Phantom jerk bait. I picked up the bait from John Pensyl at our last swap meet. As we drifted downstream I spotted a musky cruising upstream. A few second later I tagged her with #127. I'd say she was 32" or so. Nice looking fish.

A handful of smallies and a musky was all we could manage. The wind switched from a friendly east wind (I like an east wind on the west side) to an uncooperative north breeze as soon as we made our way back to Strawberry. After the big cruiser posse came out in full force we called it.

I did call to CAN PASS when we started. The nice inspector told me she couldn't tell me specifically we didn't have to report, but she didn't tell me we had to anymore either. So I guess we don't have to, which is rock solid.

I got stopped today without calling in.  They didn't care and welcomed me back into Canada.

The inspector alluded to that, Josh. Welcome back to the Great White North, the greatest neighbor a country ever had.
