Hey guys...hooked into a real nice one today....pic attached.
I would like to fill out a release submission form but I never got the tape on it.
Pretty confident it was 50+, but I am not sure on the protocol if it was not officially measured.

I spent a couple/three hrs this afternoon shooting pics from shore of some of the boats out there. I'll get them to Igg to sort. I got one action shot & one of a four legged orange distress flag

Peter, based on the scar on that fish and it's crazy tail I'm 99% sure she's been in my boat twice before. 1st time in July of 2013 at 48" and then in December of 2014 at 48.5". Even if she kept up that slow growth rate she'd have to be pushing right around 50" now 3 years later.

Thanks John. Makes sense. If it was not 50" it was real close. Regardless, it was a beauty fish!!

No doubt Peter and it was a great moment having a fish in the bag and watching ur rod go off as you trolled towards us. They were really chowing yesterday am. Congrats on a great river fish.

For sure John. I was actually just swinging the boat around to get a better look at your fish when the reel started to sing!! It was a bit of a gong show cause I was with the wife and she had no idea what to do and we were drifting into the island but I was real careful not to stress the fish and it darted away unharmed after a couple pics!!!
