Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Fished solo tonight from 9 PM till 1230 AM.

Before I got out on the water I spoke with a gentleman who has a boat slipped on the same set of docks at Rich Marine as I do. He asked what I was going out for and I told him musky. He told me that last week he watched a young man with his girlfriend in a 12' boat land a 62" musky on 8 lb test and a small little jig in the international RR bridge drift. He said it was the biggest fish he has ever seen in the river. He seemed very sincere and excitingly noted that they took a few pictures and promptly returned the fish to the water. I was glad to hear that.

As for my fishing trip, I was trolling up stream at about 2.1 MPH (GPS Speed) in about 16' of water near the start of Lunge Lane at 1030 PM and zzzzzzzz, zzzzzzz, zzzzzzzz (not sure if that is how you spell the sound that clicker makes, but it sounds like a z to me). I thought good fish, AWESOME I LOVE musky fishing. So I hit the idle button on the troll master stood up and started to reel, five or six more good pulls of line out past the drag and then NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, she was off.

I HATE MUSKY fishing is what I am thinking now. I spent another two hours trolling around the triangle, including hitting that spot three more times, but that was it for the night. Floating moss is still not bad at all.

62"? What was Cullen or John P doing fishing in a 12' boat?
I've got pics of the 62" fish from the 12 foot boat. The kid is claiming he measured it to 54". It's a big beautiful fish with a big head. I'm guessing 47-50 but certainly short of 54 and 62..... well yea.

I hate 62 inch muskies. Every time I hook one I lose it.

awesome Tony. ha!

Hahaha.  Those who don't really know about size and tell musky tales always start at 5 feet and up.   It is an unspoken rule.
