Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

I hadn't gotten around to starting my season by Monday but an early morning invite to join Pensyl aboard his boat that night finally moved me to action. We launched in time for the full moonrise and spent a few hours trolling along enjoying the evening . After the moon was up I put on my Fretthold lure in the Carls Moonbeam color. A 34ish fish made it into the net. Quick release and back to continuous conversation as John brought the boat back through the area for another pass. Something made me give out the Kitchen chant.."Here musky, musky, musky.." and literally within seconds my rod was slammed. "Son of a bi#*h, it worked" was all I said as I steadily brought the musky into the waiting net. John looked down at this one and proclaimed it 45'', no, no, 47". Definitely picture worthy and a fish in need of a accurate bump. Tail tapped the 48" mark and I quickly laid her back into the water. Nice way to start the season and I had no problem with the blood donated to the cause.. Thank you John, Mike and Scott. Gotta love the full moon..
