I feel better after reading Tony's evening outing post.  Its funny misery loves company.  My father passed on Thursday evening.  I thought it would be nice to get on the river with my brother and just clear our minds.  I was right.  Fished 7am til 12:30pm.  We didn't catch any fish, just one rip speed trolling in front of Beaver in 14 ft.  But like they say...it was nice to be on the water trying.

No counciling or family talks can beat he time you spend lost in your own thoughts while doing what you love in the great outdoors. Very sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear of the passing of your dad.  I have been there.  My Dad passed away from cancer seven years ago.  The most difficult thing was making the decision to remove life support but I know he is in a better place now.  It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about it.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and Jerry.
