Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Carrie and I hit the River this morning from 7 AM to 11:30 AM.  I had a decent fish on jerk tubing a Bob Hey casting rigged black Ninja Tube above the International Bridge near the small dock downstream from the cattails. We were shallow and I was casting deeper.  At the same instant I had the fish on, Carrie had a follow on a Mepps black marabou bucktail.  She estimated the fish's length at 34".  She also said it was thick.  These were the only fish we contacted.  We spent most of the trip speed trolling and casting in UN2, 13 and 12.  We didn't have any boat snacks and I should have worn socks.  It was cold this morning.  Back out for part II this afternoon with Jiggin' Joe and the dogs.  I'm going to pop one on a Bondy today since I imagine we'll be jigging a little bit.

Should of tried life vest.. I noticed in pictures that a lot of big fish come on life vest. Survival suit gets them too.

Patience.  Just a little patience... yeeaaahhhh.  I've been trolling the strait at night, just trying to get it right.
