Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

A friend caught this little guy in the Upper today & was asking about the unusual markings. He had never caught one that looked like this.

Any thoughts?

I've attached a pdf with photos of the 3 principle type of muskies - barred, spotted, and clear. This muskie might be a cross between the spotted and "clear". They're both present in the great lakes so it is possible. I think most Niagara River muskies are barred.

Thanks, Tony. I'll send him the pdf.
He was fishing in the Thompson's Hole area when he got it. He's a perch & walleye guy, & occasionally steelhead, but definitely wasn't trolling for muskies

Could it be in transition from yearling to juvenile?
