Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

On the last day of the 2004 musky season, our dear friend and notorious tough guy Tim Wittek succumbed to pancreatic cancer. Tim was the hardest of the hard-core, a brilliant musky angler, and one of the very best men I have ever had the privilege of knowing in my life. He was our Iron Man. To honor his memory we hold a tournament in his name each fall. This year’s Tim Wittek Memorial Tournament will be held on Sunday, November 30th from 7AM to 4PM. Eligible waters are the upper and lower Niagara River, and the eastern portion of Lake Erie, including the Buffalo Harbor. The entry fee is $25 per angler, and all entrants must be members of the NMA. If you are interested in participating, contact Adam Kazmark, (623) 205-9938, or me, (716) 225-3816. Adam will also accept entries from 6:30 to 6:45 (sharp) the morning of the event at the foot of Sheridan.
I encourage all participants to report all muskies caught during the tournament to Adam and I immediately after they are released. Participants should call Adam or I for updates throughout the day. I will also transmit the current standings on VHF channel 09 periodically as well. This should help eliminate unnecessary measurements and photographs of smaller fish.
Please be aware the tournament will be canceled if there is a small craft advisory or gale warning for the upper Niagara or Buffalo Harbor. We won’t tell you not to fish, but we will not hold the tournament in potentially dangerous conditions.
Following the tournament we’re having Jojo's Chili and pizza at the foot of Sheridan. Enter now and good luck everyone!
Good Windy Day
I will not be able to make the Wittek this weekend, which means we will have to trust someone with the post game chili?Who can be trusted ? and can pick it up Saturday? jojoout
Is there a TWMT participant willing to pick up the propane cooker, propane, chili and utensils from Jojo's prior to the tournament?
Scott,
I will call Joe today and see if I can take care of it.
