Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

AUGUST IS ALREADY SHAPING UP TO BE A BUSY MONTH! There is Cabelas on the 4th, NMA membership meeting on the 5th, and Beaver Patrol work on the 6th, so mark your calendars NOW!! We'll be "hugging" the trees with the best kind of hugging....fencing.
1st Beaver Patrol is scheduled (again) for Wed 8/6 on Strawberry & maybe Motor Island for 6:00 PM. WATCH THIS SITE (or your texts) FOR CANCELLATIONS or UPDATES. In the meantime, watch the weather also. Safety won't be compromised.
It will also depend on Connie, the DEC “Bird Lady” as well as the birds. They were here before we were so they get priority. The beavers took advantage of that fact in round 1 where we had to postpone. Now it’s time for round 2.
Bring: a desire to have a good time while helping Strawberry & the muskies, plenty of BUG SPRAY, work gloves, long pants/long sleeved shirt if preferred, hat, drinking water, and any meds you might need for yourself (like EpiPens).
We'll also need a few Knipex, small hand-saws for brush, & loppers. If we have enough, leave in your car, but bring what you have.
Anyone available to shuttle people to the Patch & back?
We're working on a weekly on-line sign-up for future trips.
Hope the good weather holds up & the birds are done for the summer. See ya' there!
I'm out for the first patrol, but I should be able to ferry others for all ensuing outings.
