Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

I'm sure at least two or three of you read your October newsletter, so you know we did not have a guest speaker for October at the time I put her to sleep. This is no longer the case! We now have a GREAT guest speaker; local hunting legend and general all-around outdoors-man, Frank Miskey, Jr.!
If it's a legal animal to shoot, Frank has probably killed it. Deer, elk, bear, turkey, rabbits, squirrels, ducks, geese, pheasant, grouse, yeti, the Loch Ness Monster, pterodactyls, space aliens etc.! Frank is a gifted hunter in the same respect Marc Arena is a great musky angler and Jojo a chili maker. Frank will discuss his approaches with scents, the rut, and other hunting terms I'm not even vaguely familiar with. I processed a few deer with Frank before and he had the skin off of the carcasses before I even had my apron on. Frank will also answer any and all of your hunting questions. If it's hunting, Frank knows it dead. Sounds pretty good to me.
Adam Kazmark will be accepting entries to our 2013 Tim Wittek Memorial Tournament (Sunday, November 3, 7AM to 4PM). The cost is $25 per angler. Boats may have more than two anglers per boat, provided they are all NMA members. The October pow-wow is the last meeting prior to the tournament, so make life easy for Adam and sign up in October.
We'll have all of the usual NMA gear and release equipment for sale as well. Tony Scime will be holding his annual pre-Halloween costume contest. The winner receives absolutely nothing, accept a hardy handshake from Tony, and the cover of the November newsletter provided no one in the club catches and takes a picture of a musky over 40-inches in the next month. (Here's a tip for those interested in entering, Tony likes superhero costumes and bunnies.) See you there!
