Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Went out Tuesday morning. Joe Klaczyk joined me for his first ever muskie adventure on the Niagara River. Just like the last four or five times I went out it was hot and sunny. Today, however, instead of calm winds, we had a nice brisk southwesterly wind. I hoped the wind would enliven the muskies a bit.

Started in the usual spots. No action after a couple of hours. Decided to run down to the trench, which almost always produces a fish, or at least a hookup. First drift I hooked, boated, tagged and released a 36 incher. Joe got a chance to practice his muskie netting skills. A couple more drifts but no more bites. Went back up river to see if we could catch something bigger. Here's a video of our results:

Great going to both of you, Tony's a great teacher. Are you taking Tony out in a kayak next?

Way to go, Joe! Quit now! (Kidding.) A 44-inch average is damn impressive!
