ANOTHER GREAT KIDS FISHING EVENT
Many thanks to youth fishing volunteers Joe Soldaczewski and Rick Kustich for helping out with today's Ladders to the Outdoors kids fishing event at Beaver Island State Park. Over 50 kids aged 5 to 13 from the Valley Community Center came out to learn how to fish from the best. The very high winds made bobber fishing difficult but the team persevered and all the kids had a great time. The NMA is supporting two more kids events this year: 7/26/25 and 8/13/25. Greetings team. We have been approached again by Ladders to the Outdoors to assist with a kids fishing event to be held at Beaver Island State Park on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This event will include about 30 kids along with 10 adult chaperones.
