Tons of thanks to Carl Schenk, Mike "the Facilities" & Mike Rowan for working the Kid's Fishing Derby on an absolutely gorgeous Sat morning..  The kids had a great time & every parent was most appreciative to the NMA for our volunteering to put on the derby.

How hot is it?

- It's so hot, the chickens are laying hard-boiled eggs!

- It's so hot, I saw a robin using a potholder to pull a worm out this morning!

- It's so hot, my car was overheating in the driveway before I even started it!

- It's so hot, I saw a dog chasing a cat...and both were walking!

I got a call from Toothy last week & he asked if I was available to give a presentation on the FAS's that we had recently put in, so I'll be there on the 18th.  This is the same presentation that was given at our Conservation meeting last Feb.
