Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

This is an open catch and release tournament. Tournament boundaries are limited to the Upper Niagara River.
Click Here for tournament rules. In addition to rules, those fishing in Canadian waters must adhere to Canadian boating and fishing regulations.
Tournament hours are 7 AM til 3:30 PM. Registration will be at the Sheridan launch between 6 AM and 7:15 AM. Entry fee is $25/person.
In the event of a small craft advisory, the tournament will be postponed. notice will be given HERE.
Prizes will be awarded at the Carol's Fishing Club (CFC) boathouse on Grand Island. I hear there will be chilli and fish fry.
Larry, I just thought about it today after looking at the forecast. I still have to run it by Jim tonight but I think he will go along with the idea.
The wind charts have changed some since this morning. Now for Sat. it is showing the wind picking up between noon and 1PM from the sw, so the worst of it will probably be after 3pm. If that is the case, then Sat. might be ok.
For Fri. nite bite the winds will be sw at 6k at midnight and slowly switching to s and ramping up to 12 by 8am. So Fri night will be ok as far as wind but it will be chilly.
Right now for Sun. it is showing W @ 12k at 7am switching to SW and slowly increasing to 16 by 3pm with maybe a few gusts to 21k. Maybe it won't be too muddy because the strong sw winds will only be between 2 pm Sat. tll about 11pm when it shows switching to west then back to sw by noon on Sun.
Of course everything actually could be a lot different when the time comes.
It sure is a pain in the (you know what) dealing with the changing conditions this time of the year to get a tournament in.
Just talked to Jim. We are keeping it on Sat. as scheduled. If the forecast changes to where Sat. will be too rough, we will hold it on Sun. If that happens I will announce it by 6:30pm on Fri.. Otherwise plan on Sat. 7am to 3pm. Registration at Sheridan launch 6am til 7:15am.
Since there has not been very much interest in the tournament even from the beginning and we had to postpone it twice due to small craft advisories and there was a small craft advisory issued overnight before the third scheduled date, we have decided to cancel instead of postponing the tournament again.
