Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Had to go to the derm doctor today to get mohs surgery where the nose & cheek meet. It's a very sensitive area (think teenage zit) but the alternative is worse. Got a few stitches on the corner of the nose, bandaged up but it hurts like heck to smile. I've been careful for a lot of years but in the 60's & 70's nobody worried about that.
Be careful & protect yourself from the sun, even on cloudy days.
Right now it feels like a thousand bees stung me in the face

Yes, get well soon!
John: I remember fishing with you on a sunny day. You had all kinds of sun protection clothing. And you still wound up with a problem. That should be a teaching point for all club members. You really can't be too protective when it comes to sun exposure on the water. Your M.D., Dr. Wirth, is the gold standard when it comes to sun damage repair. He did my scalp a few times. He has taken care of my entire family over the years. You will be as good as new in a few days.
Thanks, guys!
While I have do have all the sun protection goods on now (even gloves), the damage I think was done in the 1960's & 70's. Back then nobody even had a thought about cancers & other damage. Unfortunately, the damage doesn't repair itself or get better over time so I do what I can now.
Thanks again. The doctor did a good job or stitching it up but he couldn't do anything to improve my looks. He's not a miracle worker
Scott...you can call me Johnny, you can call me JJ and you can call me "sexy", but don't call me late for dinner!
Thanks for all the kind words

Don't sell yourself short, John! As far as conservation volunteers are concerned you are about as sexy as they come!
