Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Hi Team,

Mike "The Facilities" Fortunate and I jigged, cast and trolled UN2, 13, 12 and 11 yesterday amongst the jet and water skiers (one of whom was nice enough to come within 30-feet of us) and John Pensyl and Cullen Veiders.  We had two follows and a bunch more laughs.  Our curse lives on though unfortunately (small pun).

By the way, if you're fishing in Canadian water and you have to use a restroom or touch ground on the American side in any way, make sure you call CAN-PASS again for a new report number.  If Canadian authorities spot you touching American soil and then returning to Canadian water they can nail you.

Speaking of Canada, HAPPY CANADA DAY everyone!  The idiots and I had one of our most prolific drinking trips on a Canada Day weekend thirteen years ago (my God, was it that long ago) on Sturgeon Lake and Mark Reichert even managed to pop a 48".  Papke, incredibly, manged to scare those in attendance with how much vodka he could drink.  And if you know Paul, that's saying a lot.  Either way, big ups the British North America Act!  I still remember when Canada Day was referred to as Dominion Day.  My family would pack up the truckster and go to Scottish reunions with my namesake (my dad's drinking buddy) and we always had a great time.  I need to learn how to play the bag pipes.  (Not this again...)

I hope to see you all tomorrow at our July Meeting.

Scott we actually had a Canadian boat take a run right at us near beaver island marina last night. They came close enough that they cut cullens line and made him lose a good amount of braid and a lure he had taken the time to carve himself. They were laughing as they did it and came from directly across the river just to be (expletive deleted) to people fishing. We finished with 3 fish, Cullen with a 35 or so and I added a lil dink to the 37 I had when I talked to u. Today was even slow, I didn't even move one fish but Cullen managed a lil guy on a toothy and we watched Andy panz and Tony Scime both boat a fish. Back out in the am and then its back to orange county for a couple weeks.

Ignorance has no nationality.

I wasn't happy.lol! I think I'm gonna spool my reel w downrigger wire.

Maybe he will learn a lesson if that ling got wrapped around hos prop shaft and cuts up his lower unit seal.
